PROOF! is a biannual publication produced by – and compliments of – Johnston Printing. Founded in Spokane in 1947, Johnston is a family-owned, full-service shop offering both offset and digital printing, along with binding and mailing services, for every printing need.

PROOF! is exactly what the name says: a testament both to the creativity and to the viability of the Spokane-area arts community; a glimpse at the work of some of the talented yet overlooked artists with connections to that very community. We’ve been a proud supporter of the visual arts for more than 30 years now, and PROOF! is our way of sharing that passion with clients, collaborators, and friends.

Got a story idea you’d like to share?

At the very least, fly tying requires patience, discipline, and creativity. More than anything, though, it demands the sort of precision and dexterity that's typically found only in surgeons.
